Meanwhile Nine wins the night with ease, the ABC lean in, and Seven don’t really try after 7:30pm.

A Current Affair (635,000) slides yet still retains the 7pm crown for Nine, and The Block (750,000) also slips while remaining untouched. My Life as a Rolling Stone (191,000) sees the audience almost vanish along with Family Law (44,000) in late night.
Nine first in both primary (23.5%) and network (31.9%) rankings.

Home & Away (493,000) almost makes it for Seven, however their capitulation to deliver a double repeat of Highway Patrol (305,000; 280,000) in primetime is really a placeholder for next week’s new programming. Air Crash Investigations (190,000), The Amazing Race US (85,000), and Chicago Fire (43,000) do little to keep an audience into the late night.
Seven second in both primary (16.9%) and network (24.8%) rankings.

7:30 (504,000) and Hard Quiz (549,000) deliver a crushing second place in primetime for the ABC, with both Seven and 10 in the darkness behind them. Question Everything (415,000) and Summer Love (226,000) both lift, before the night turns to Would I Lie To You? (195,000), as then the night ends with repeats of The Witchfinder (78,000) and Spicks and Specks (27,000).
ABC third in both primary (13.5%) and network (18.2%) rankings.

The Project (196,000 6:30pm; 306,000 7pm) offers a little dignity to 10’s line-up before the premiere of The Real Love Boat Australia (215,000 5CM, 63,000 RegTAM (278,000 National)) which now looks to have exploded while tied to the wharf – maybe BVOD/Total TV figures will help save it? My Life Is Murder (138,000) delayed second season premieres to largely a disinterested audience, followed by a repeat of Bull (89,000).
10 fourth in both primary (8.8%) and network (15.3%) rankings.

The finale of The Australian Wars (147,000) kicked off SBS’s night, followed by the double ep FTA premiere of Nine Perfect Strangers (123,000 avg).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.3%) and network (9.8%) rankings.
