The show single-handedly lifts 10’s night.
A Current Affair (686,000) and The Block (773,000) are proving unbeatable for Nine, and Under Investigation (294,000) is doing it’s bit but far from competitive with HYBPA. The night then splits for 100% Footy (59,000 BNE/SYD) or a repeat of Australian Crime Stories (97,000 MEL/ADL/PER), then returns for Fortunate Son (37,000).
Nine first in both primary (22.6%) and network (29.9%) rankings.
Seven have a better night, with Home & Away (458,000) leading the way, followed by Farmer Wants A Wife (486,000) which dips a little. 9-1-1: Lone Star (161,000) and S.W.A.T. (83,000) draw in US serialised drama fans, followed by fans of the uber-trashy-but-can’t-turn-away Heartbreak Island Australia (24,000).
Seven second in both primary (18.4%) and network (26.4%) rankings.
7:30 (496,000) and Australian Story (438,000) take a solid position in primetime, followed by a reasonable audience for Four Corners (407,000) and Media Watch (428,000). Planet America (316,000) premieres to numbers Q+A can only dream about, and then a repeat of David Attenborough’s Life That Glows (57,000) fleshes out the night.
ABC third in primary (13.9%) and tied third for network (17.8%) rankings.
The Project (210,000 6:30pm; 303,000 7pm) lifts a little though nothing significant, as The Amazing Race Australia (332,000) delivers the best numbers it has seen in a few weeks. Have You Been Paying Attention? (506,000) lifts to a solid 8:30pm offering, and the comedy continued with Just for Laughs Australia (193,000) and a repeat of The Montreal Comedy Festival (DNR).
10 fourth in both primary (12.1%) and tied third for network (17.8%) rankings.
Lighthouses: Building the Impossible (144,000) kicks off SBS’s night, followed by DNA Family Secrets (130,000) and a repeat of 24 Hours in Emergency (107,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.9%) and network (8%) rankings.
