Thai cave documentary THIRTEEN LIVES and another season of THE OUTLAWS, part of the highlights on PRIME VIDEO this August

This August there’s plenty of content arriving on Prime Video, including the Sylvester Stallone-led film Samaritan, a new season of All Or Nothing: Arsenal, and the third season of Making The Cut.

August on Prime Video sees the return of a beloved 90’s baseball classic; the story of one of the world’s biggest rescue operations and a hero in hiding coaxed out to save a city from ruin.

From director Ron Howard and a stellar cast including Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell and Joel Edgerton, Thirteen Lives (5 August) tells the story of the tremendous global effort to rescue a Thai soccer team who found themselves trapped in a cave during an unexpected rainstorm.

Beloved classic, A League Of Their Own (12 August) is back, but this time widening the lens to tell the story of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball and how they find themselves and their rights along the way.

Keep an eye out for the return of comedy thriller The Outlaws, created by Stephen Merchant; a hero returned in Samaritan starring Sylvester Stallone; a view behind the curtains of the world’s biggest football clubs in the second season of All Or Nothing: Arsenal and Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn return for a third season of Making The Cut.

Prime Video is also rolling out a new, redesigned experience within the Prime Video app to highlight our broad selection of content, with a new homepage and new format, making it easier for customers to find the content they love.

THIRTEEN LIVES

Thirteen Lives recounts the incredible true story of the tremendous global effort to rescue a Thai soccer team who become trapped in the Tham Luang cave during an unexpected rainstorm. Faced with insurmountable odds, a team of the world’s most skilled and experienced divers – uniquely able to navigate the maze of flooded, narrow cave tunnels – join with Thai forces and more than 10,000 volunteers to attempt a harrowing rescue of the twelve boys and their coach. With impossibly high stakes and the entire world watching, the group embarks on their most challenging dive yet, showcasing the limitlessness of the human spirit in the process.

Thirteen Lives stars Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, Joel Edgerton, Tom Bateman, Paul Gleeson, Pattrakorn Tungsupakul, Tui Thiraphat Sajakul, James Teeradon Supapunpinyo, Sahajak Boonthanakit, and Weir Sukollawat Kanaros.

A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN

A League of Their Own evokes the joyful spirit of Penny Marshall’s beloved classic, while widening the lens to tell the story of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball, both in and outside of the AAGPBL. Most believe Samaritan perished in the fire, but some in the city, like Sam, have hope that he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam makes it his mission to coax his neighbour out of hiding to save the city from ruin.

THE OUTLAWS

The Outlaws is a comedy thriller about a disparate group of lawbreakers thrown together to complete a community service sentence. Seven strangers from different walks of life are forced to work together to renovate a derelict community center. When one of their number gets dragged into a dangerous world of organized crime, they unite in ways none of them thought possible. Picking up a few months after the climax of Season One, in Season Two, the Outlaws still have time to serve on their sentences, but quickly realize the criminal underworld isn’t done with them yet—not by a long shot. This ragtag group of misfits’ shared past comes back to haunt them, in the shape of a terrifying London drug lord out for blood—The Dean.

ALL OR NOTHING: ARSENAL

All or Nothing: Arsenal S2 will take viewers behind the curtain during a crucial season at one of the world’s biggest football clubs, as Arsenal focus their efforts on challenging for domestic success and returning to elite European competition. As well as capturing the highs and lows of life at the Emirates Stadium and the Arsenal Training Centre, the All or Nothing cameras will follow Arsenal’s squad away from the pitch to examine the daily challenges faced by elite athletes throughout a demanding calendar of high-pressure competition.

MAKING THE CUT

S3 AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY FROM FRIDAY 19 AUGUST

Making the Cut is once again on a mission to find the next great global fashion brand. Season Three of the fashion-competition series, hosted and executive produced by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, will return August 19 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Actress and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie and fashion pop icon and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott will return as judges, with pop superstars Chloe x Halle, A-List stylist Jason Bolden, and fashion TikToker and model Wisdom Kaye making appearances as guest judges throughout the season.

Los Angeles’ diverse fashion scene will continue to set the perfect backdrop for Making the Cut. Some of this season’s runway locations include the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the unique desert landscape of Vasquez Rocks, and a rooftop of one of Downtown LA’s many skyscrapers with sweeping views of the city skyline.

UNTRAPPED: THE STORY OF LIL BABY
