UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski open up in exclusive interview with ESPN

ESPN was granted exclusive access to UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski just days out from the blockbuster UFC 276 event, for a special SportsCenter feature.

The SportsCenter special will take ESPN viewers inside the minds of both UFC champions’ just days out from one of the biggest UFC events of 2022.

Both fighters sat down with ESPN journalist Sam Bruce to discuss their respective journeys in the UFC, and the impact they have had on the other.

The two fighters will recount their first meeting in Thailand, the impact Alexander Volkanovski has had on Auckland’s City Kickboxing team, and share their dreams of both becoming dual-champions in the UFC.

Adesanya and Volkanovski will also breakdown each other’s UFC 276 showdown, giving a unique perspective on Sunday’s title matchups

At UFC 276, Adesanya will defend his UFC Middleweight crown against #2 ranked contender Jared Cannonier.

Volkanovski will face long-time foe and former UFC Featherweight champion Max Holloway.

The Australian holds a 2-0 record over Holloway and hopes to continue his undefeated record in the Octagon.
