Daniel and Johnny are back with another blockbuster season of the sequel series to The Karate Kid.
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for season five of Cobra Kai, including announcing its airdate.
In the new season, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) expands the Cobra Kai empire as his old pal John Kreese (Martin Kove) wrongfully serves prison time.
It brings Terry face-to-face with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) whose aim is to bring the ponytailed baddie down a peg or two with the help of Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto).
Meanwhile, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) joins his estranged son Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) on a a trip to Mexico, with Johnny on a mission to find Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña), who is trying to find his father.
Season five will drop all of its episodes on September 9, 2022, much earlier than other seasons have landed, usually around Christmas or New Years.
Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List and Vanessa Rubio all are expected to star in lead roles.
