The similarity between the two logos was first spotted by eagle-eyed Media Spy contributor, Biscuit 45.
Junin TV broadcasts on the channel 10 frequency throughout parts of Buenos Aires in Argentina. The ‘new’ logo was revealed this week as part of a relaunch of the station to coincide with a move to high definition.
Along with the logo change, the Argentinian station also launched a brand-new weekday news bulletin under the somewhat familiar-sounding name, 10 News First Edition.
Of course, the team at Channel 10 Australia have a bit of experience in dealing with these kinds of issues.
Back in 2018, this website revealed the network was dealing with its own trademark concerns after it relaunched one of its multichannels as 10Boss, a brand that the Nine owned Financial Review deemed was too close to one of its own publications. In that case, 10 was quick to relent and 10Boss soon became 10Bold.
Check out Dutch Caribbean’s RTV-7. Not mistaken with Bosnia’s RTV 7. The RTV-7 looks almost identical to Network Seven’s logo.
