Today, Disney+ released the teaser trailer for “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” giving fans an exciting first look at the highly anticipated limited series.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

This teaser includes the reveal of the breadth of the Galactic Empire that the lone Jedi is up against, including the Grand Inquisitor–first seen in the animated series Star Wars: Rebels–and his collection of soldiers and mercenaries all working at the bidding of Darth Vader.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold.

OBI-WAN KENOBI – a limited series, made by Lucasfilm, launches exclusively 25 May on Disney+.
