Super Rugby Pacific is ready to set sail, with the world’s best provincial Rugby competition kicking off a new era this Friday night.
The revamped 2022 competition will boast twelve teams, with all ten existing Australian and New Zealand teams along with newcomers the Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika.
Super Rugby Pacific kicks off with tonight’s season opener between the Waratahs and Fijian Drua, ad-free live and on demand only on Stan Sport from 7pm AEDT. The attention will then shift to Suncorp Stadium, where reigning Australian champions, the Queensland Reds, will take on the Melbourne Rebels on Saturday night before the Western Force kick off their campaign in a Sunday afternoon clash against the Brumbies.
Coverage will be presented by the top Stan Sport commentary lineup, hosted by Roz Kelly and Nick McArdle, and featuring Wallaby greats Tim Horan, Drew Mitchell, Morgan Turinui and Justin Harrison with former All Blacks legend Andrew Mehrtens and ex Wallabies coach Michael Cheika.
