December is full of festive cheer and exclusive new titles added to the library on Paramount+.

If you’re in for some holiday flicks, Paramount+ brings you several special Christmas events – including a Christmas movie marathon.

Another festive special coming to the streamer is A Baby Reindeer’s First Christmas, where you can fall in love with an orphaned baby reindeer set to melt hearts as it battles to be a part of the festivities.

Fans of Yellowstone can get excited for 1883, an exclusive new prequel series that follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey out west.

Other highlights include the Rugrats and A Loud House Christmas festive season specials; all new competition series Queen of the Universe; feature film Violet, starring Olivia Munn; and the season five premiere of The Good Fight.

A Baby Reindeer’s First Christmas

In the stunning Scottish Highlands, and with a community of dedicated herders, follow a group of young reindeer preparing for their first-ever Christmas.
Fall in love with an orphaned baby reindeer who’s set to melt hearts as it battles against the odds to be part of the festivities; and the reindeer learning to pull the Christmas sleigh for the first time.

What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
Justine Bateman’s intriguing and immersive debut film follows Violet Calder (Olivia Munn) as she realises that she can no longer ignore the daily barrage of self-criticisms (voiced by Justin Theroux) that clouds her life.
These self-criticisms cause her to make fear-based decisions and hold her back from the kind of professional, personal, and romantic life she knows she wants.
Unsure how to live a life free from that self-doubt, like her childhood friend Red (Luke Bracey), Violet realises she has no choice but to travel the road that is more frightening to her than the fear that holds her back: Doing everything differently.

The Last Bus

Tom, an elderly man, is on a mission to return the ashes of his recently deceased wife, Mary (Phyllis Logan) to Land’s End, Cornwall, Britain’s most Southerly point. However, Tom lives in the village of John O’Groats at the northeastern tip of mainland Scotland and has no real way to get to Land’s End… but he does have a bus pass.
Using only local buses, Tom embarks on a nostalgic trip, carrying with him his wife’s ashes in a small suitcase, travelling the length of the country to take her back home. Along the way, his adventures are recorded by the people he meets and helps, and by the end of his trip he has unwittingly become a social media celebrity.

Paradise Lost

Set in small-town Mississippi, this southern gothic mystery follows prodigal son, Yates Forsythe (josh Harnett) as he returns to his hometown with his wife, Frances – a woman very new to this very old community.
As explosive secrets become unearthed, Yates’ loyalties are tested as he struggles to choose between his past and his future.

Queen Of The Universe

They’ll bring the body. They’ll bring the face. And for the first time ever, they’ll bring their own vocals: there will be no lip-syncing.
Queen of the Universe brings drag queens from across the globe to battle it out in a singing competition for the ages. The Queens – including Aussie Gingzilla – will take centre stage in an over-the-top singing competition to see who reigns supreme.
$250,000 is on offer as contestants perform before judges Vanessa Williams, Michelle Visage, Leona Lewis and American drag act Trixie Mattel.

Rugrats

Rugrats is celebrating the holidays with Paramount+!
The beloved animated series will highlight and celebrate several denominations to explain the various ways that the holidays are celebrated and explore how families from different cultures come together to create their own unique traditions.
And it all kicks off as Tommy’s first Chanukah falls on Christmas Eve, and the Pickles juddle their family traditions to make sure each feels important, while also celebrating Las Posadas with Betty and her family.

A Loud House Christmas

It’s Christmas time, and Lincoln Loud is super excited. It’s the one day of the year the entire Loud family comes together.
However – this year, Lori Luna and Luan make their own Christmas plans. With three of the sisters on different holiday schedules, Lincoln’s parents decide they should take a family trip to Miami with their remaining children.
But Lincoln feels if they miss the family’s favourite traditions, the entire holiday will be ruined!
With help from his best friend Clyde, Lincoln’s got 24 hours to come up with the perfect plan, change his family’s mind, and – you guessed it- save Christmas!

Housebroken

SATURDAY, 11 DECEMBER

Featuring the voices of Lisa Kudrow, Tony Hale and Will Forte, animated comedy Housebroken follows a group of neighbourhood pets and stray animals as they work through their issues inside and outside their therapy group.
Honey, a standard poodle, opens her living room for the group to come and support each other through the misery, mayhem and majesty that is being a pet. Honey also struggles with her own problems, such as her arranged (by her human) marriage with Chief, a sloppy St. Bernard who enjoys eating socks and licking himself.

Escape At Dannemora

WEDNESDAY, 15 DECEMBER
PARAMOUNT+ NEW SERIES

This limited series is based on the stranger-than-fiction account of a prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015 that spwaned a massive manhunt for two convicted murderers.
The prisoners were aided in their escape by a married female prison employee with whom they both became sexually entangled.
It stars Oscar winners Benicio del Toro and Patricia Arquette, and Golden Globe nominee Paul Dano. Emmy winner Ben Stiller executive produces and directs all episodes.

South Park Movie

FRIDAY, 17 DECEMBER
PARAMOUNT+ ORIGINAL FEATURE FILM

Bringing more adults-only laughter are South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
Fans can rest easy as Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman return today, in the second of many highly anticipated made-for-TV events, exclusive to Paramount+.

1883

MONDAY, 20 DECEMBER
PARAMOUNT+ EXCLUSIVE NEW SERIES

The hype for Yellowstone’s prequel series, 1883 is at an all-time high.
1883 follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey wets through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America.
It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana – that will one day become the focus of so many trials and tribulations for their descendants.

Nova Vita

THURSDAY, 30 DECEMBER
PARAMOUNT+ EXCLUSIVE NEW SERIES

Nova Vita tells the story of two best friends – Mark Davis and Carter Hayes – embroiled in legal trouble.
The two cryptocurrency billionaires turn to revolutionary company Nova Vita who gives them new identities, appearances, and lives after staging their deaths.
Soon, the FBI catches onto the conspiracy, and families are destroyed in the midst of catastrophe.

The Good Fight

FRIDAY, 31 DECEMBER
SEASON 5 PREMIERE

Season five sees Diane (Christine Baranski) forced to question whether it’s appropriate for her to help run an African American law firm with Liz (Audra McDonald) when the firm loses two top lawyers.
Meanwhile, Marissa (Sarah Steele) and the firm become entangled with Hal Wackner (Mandy Patinkin), a regular Chicagoan who decides to open his own courtroom in the back of a copy shop.
