Everything after 7:30pm landing sub-500k is a crime.
Home and Away (493,000 7pm; 449,000 7:30pm-8:30pm late) “stars” for Seven–enough for the timeslot win–as The Front Bar (332,000) does reasonable business as a cricket season preview. America’s Got Talent (149,000) finale was broadcast for someone.
Seven first in primary (18.6%) and second in network (28.9%) rankings.
A Current Affair (610,000) Nine’s best by far, as a winner on Million Dollar Hot Seat (428,000) draws reasonable-but-not-great viewers. Quiz (261,000) tries to build unsuccessfully off the hype.
Nine second in primary (18.3%) and first in network (29.2%) rankings.
7:30 (496,000) and Following the Drug Money (303,000) slide into fourth in the timeslot for the ABC, as Q+A (261,000) continues to capitulate in its Thursday 8:30pm slot. Just admit defeat and move it back to Monday nights. Repeats of Doctor Who (72,000) and You Can’t Ask That (57,000) fill out the schedule.
ABC third in primary (10.5%) and fourth in network (16.2%) rankings.
The Project (198,000 6:30pm; 330,000 7pm) slumps further for 10, however when your big primetime finale The Bachelorette Australia (400,000 avg (361,000 finale; 439,000 decision)) can’t muster a win–let alone better than third in the slot–you’re always going to struggle. A repeat of The Cheap Seats (176,000) adds deserved figures to this show’s season finale.
10 fourth in primary (10.4%) and third in network (16.4%) rankings.
SBS roll out their Thursday with Wonderful World of Chocolate (162,000), Red Election (74,000), and a repeat of Secrets of Britain (86,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (9.3%) rankings.
