Leading global media entertainment company AMC has launched their streaming channel AMC+ in Australia today.
After much success since its launch in the U.S. in June 2020, Australia finally has its own AMC+ streaming bundle, launching exclusively through the Amazon Prime and Apple TV channels.
With a monthly price of $8.99, AMC+ features original programming arriving for the first time in Australia, such as The Beast Must Die, Ultra City Smiths, Anna, and Firebite.
Beginning today, eligible Prime members can sign up for a seven-day free trial via Prime Video Channels and will be able to watch AMC+ on all compatible Prime Video devices. Customers can sign up for a seven-day free trial starting today and subscribe directly to AMC+ on the Apple TV app for $8.99 per month.
AMC+ also offers full access to AMC Networks’ targeted streaming services, Acorn TV and Shudder, at no additional cost.
The platform delivery for AMC+ is not direct like Acorn TV and Shudder, as the only method for wannabe streamers to access AMC+ is through the channels on Apple TV or Amazon Prime.
