It’s time for Barbara to choose a successor, and it might not be the obvious choice.
At the office, Daniel’s (Luke McGregor) high school nemesis Bruce (Sam Cotton) pops in to let them know he’s had a job offer on the mainland and is leaving Rosehaven. Daniel takes the opportunity to finally speak his mind, but in typical fashion Bruce refuses to apologise for his past behaviours.
Olive has a private tenant who isn’t paying rent, so she comes to Barbara (Kris McQuade) for help evicting them. When the tenant won’t leave quietly, Emma (Celia Pacquola) and Daniel decide to use all of the tricks of the trade that they’ve learnt over the last few years to resolve the situation.
They rope in half the town to help, but when they still won’t leave, the last person you’d expect saves the day.
Barbara sees all the hard work Emma and Daniel have been doing and makes the big decision about who will take over the business once she retires.
