Ronnie is on his BMX gossiping on Bronte Court. He tells everyone that Mitch and Mark’s house is shut down because of safety concerns because of live wires. It is shut down for two hours.

Quite a few teams are having tiling issues. Mitch and Mark have one huge tile that breaks twice. Kirsty and Jesse have a bad batch and have to start again.

Tanya visits a vintage store and buys a vintage German lamp – but what will the judges think?

It’s Thursday on The Block and the Blockheads get a text from Scotty – it’s challenge time.

The Blockheads head down to Geelong’s Fagg’s Mitre 10 with the brief to build and style a 1.5m x 1.8m cubby house.

The all-day challenge is pretty taxing on our already tired contestants.

Ronnie who is probably the most accomplished builder in the group gets straight to work and builds a second story.

Mitch and Mark make a beautiful kids wonderland cubby house, a real threat to Ronnie and Georgia.

In the end though according to the judges – kids – Ronnie and Georgia’s two-story rocket cubby house takes the win and they take another $10,000 home.

They also win the all-important gnome which will give them a bonus point that they can used at any time.  Josh and Luke are furious, they think it is rigged.

The Block airs Sunday to Wednesday on Channel 9 and 9Now
