New roles for JENNA CLARKE and PETER GLEESON at Sky News Australia

Sky News Australia has today confirmed two new appointments to its broadcast line-up.

Starting from Monday, Sky News anchor Peter Gleeson will commence in his new role as the channel’s dedicated Queensland Editor. Peter will drive the state’s news agenda with exclusive reporting and leading analysis across a range of Sky News programming.

Peter will play a key role in the coverage of the upcoming Federal Election providing expert analysis from the crucial state of Queensland. He will also provide daily insights and perspectives across a range of Sky News programs live from the channel’s Queensland studios.

A former leading Queensland media commentator and editor of The Sunday Mail, The Gold Coast Bulletin and The Townsville Bulletin, Peter has spent decades in journalism covering the issues important to Queenslanders. Peter will continue in his role as a columnist for News Corp Australia mastheads.

From Monday, The Front Page will be hosted by journalist and radio host, Jenna Clarke, delivering the next day’s headlines each night Mondays to Thursdays at 11pm AEST on Sky News on Foxtel.

As Assistant Editor at The West Australian and breakfast host on Triple M Perth, Jenna Clarke has her finger on the pulse when it comes to breaking news. Tune in with Jenna live from the Perth Sky News studio as she speaks with newsmakers and reveals the headlines to get the jump on tomorrow’s news ahead of anywhere else.

Sky News anchor and News Corp columnist Peter Gleeson first joined Sky News in 2018 as a Contributor and has hosted several programs including Heads Up, The Front Page, and Sky News Across Australia with Peter Gleeson.

Jenna has previously appeared on Sky News Australia as part of Paul Murray Live, a panellist on In My View, and as a guest on The Front Page with Peter Gleeson.​ Jenna has extensive media experience spanning the last 12 years working across various journalism roles at Sydney Morning Herald and Harper’s Bazaar Australia, and as Head of Culture at Buzzfeed.
