“We are thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Foxtel by bringing the beloved DreamWorks characters and franchises to Australian homes,”

said Chris Taylor, Managing Director, NBCUniversal International Networks and Television Distribution ANZ.

“The positive uptake for our DreamWorks pop-up channel was so impressive and it’s exciting to now give the DreamWorks channel a home on Foxtel. We look forward to curating the very best in kids’ entertainment to this exclusive channel through our strong slate of engaging DreamWorks programming.”

FOXTEL has also collaborated with PBS Distribution to launch PBS KIDS – the number one educational media brand for kids in the U.S. – opening worlds of possibilities to young viewers with high-quality educational content parents can trust.

Children will be enthralled by award-winning programs such as Arthur – a four-time recipient of the Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Animated Program; and Peabody Award-winner, Molly of Denali.  Other programs include the Australian premieres of Donkey Hodiea whimsical social-emotional puppet series, produced by Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures, that encourages preschoolers to aim high, embrace challenges and work hard to achieve their goals; and Elinor Wonders Why – a STEM-based cartoon series about a curious rabbit and her pals living in Animal Town.

DreamWorks and PBS KIDS will join FOXTEL’s existing lineup of kids channels that includes two dedicated kids’ movie channels: FOXTEL Movies Kids and FOXTEL Movies Family, with all movies shown ad-break free.
