The 2021 Supercars Championship is back live and free on the Seven Network this weekend with the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown.
In a 7SPORT first, fans will not miss a second of the high-octane action with Seven’s coverage to continue uninterrupted during commercial breaks via picture-in-picture (PiP) technology.

Shane van Gisbergen will be looking to consolidate his series lead when the Supercars’ title race resumes at Hidden Valley Raceway on Saturday, but a star-studded chasing pack led by Jamie Whincup, Chaz Mostert, Will Davison, Cameron Waters and Mark Winterbottom will go full throttle to shake up the Championship standings.
Leading sports broadcaster Mark Beretta will host Seven’s Supercars coverage from Darwin, which will include race 12 on Saturday, and races 13 and 14 on Sunday.
The live and free broadcast kicks off at 12.00pm AEST on both days on Channel 7 and 7plus, while on Saturday Adelaide viewers will need to switch to 7mate at 1.30pm local time.
Motorsport icons Mark Skaife, Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander and Marcos Ambrose will also be part of the coverage, along with fan favourites Charli Robinson and Mark Larkham in pit lane.
Fans can enjoy a trip down memory lane this weekend as 7’s Motorsport Classics makes its debut at 11.30am AEST on Saturday and Sunday on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.
In an unmissable series, host Jack Perkins revisits some of the greatest moments in Australian motorsport from the Seven vault, with thanks to Shannons.
This weekend’s opening two episodes relive the incredible 2010 Homebush title decider on the streets of Sydney Olympic Park and the breakthrough wins that helped launch the iconic careers of Mark Skaife, Craig Lowndes and Scott McLaughlin.
On both race days this weekend, Seven will show a one-hour highlights package, with viewers in all capital cities able to catch the very best action on 7plus from 8.30pm AEST and then on demand.
Saturday’s highlights will also be shown on Channel 7 directly following Seven’s AFL broadcast (GWS Giants v Carlton at Giants Stadium) in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, from 11.00pm AEST. They will be shown in Perth on Channel 7 at 11.10pm local time.
Sunday’s highlights will screen on Channel 7 at 1.00am Monday local time in all capital cities.
