The highly anticipated Friends: The Reunion special has proved to be a smash hit setting new viewing records on streaming platform BINGE.
The special sees “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the beloved show.
The one-off reunion special, which was released at 5pm AEST on Thursday afternoon immediately generated a huge surge in traffic for the streaming platform.
BINGE recently celebrated its first birthday on May 25.
In its first year of operation, the streaming service has already delivered some of the worlds most-watched and talked-about drama titles including Kate Winslet crime thriller Mare of Easttown, Kaley Cuoco dark comedy The Flight Attendant, and the Nicole Kidman series, The Undoing

The one-off reunion special features a cavalcade of special guest appearances from some of the world’s biggest stars including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
