The ballroom drama continues on Dancing With The Stars: All Stars last night as the first group returned to the dance floor.

It was a night of highs and tears as all six celebrities performed their second dance of the competition, with the first dance-off of the competition between the bottom two couples.

Bec Hewitt opened the show with an electric jive that the judges called a “show-stopping” performance, scoring a total of 31.

Jaws dropped when Kyly Clarke top-scored for the night, receiving the first 10 of the competition and a series record of 37 with her stellar foxtrot to Haven’t Met You Yet. Judge Paul Mercurio described her performance as “effortless, perfect and wonderful”.

Lincoln Lewis impressed with his strong tango, scoring 29.

An incredibly emotional Tom Williams scored 27 from the judges for his “real and raw” foxtrot, after opening up about his pre-performance meltdown.

With first night nerves out of the way, Matty J stepped back onto the dancefloor with a delicate Viennese waltz, scoring 26.

Schapelle Corby struggled through her 1920s Charleston, which received the lowest judges’ score of the series with 20.

Schapelle and Matty found themselves in the bottom two, competing against each other in the dance-off. Matty came out on top and Schapelle danced off the stage.

Coming up this Sunday, you’ve never seen dancing like this before! The stars re-create their favourite routines from their past seasons. Can Bec Hewitt reproduce her winning cha cha? Will Tom Williams’ shirt come off? It’s a whole new level of dancing.

Dancing With The Stars: All Stars is produced by Warner Bros International Television Production Australia and BBC Studios, from a format created by the BBC and distributed by BBC Studios.

Dancing With The Stars: All Stars continues 7.00pm Sunday, 7.30pm Monday and Tuesday on Channel 7 and 7plus
