Nine bring home a winner with both Australian Open 2021 Night 13 – Pre Show (601,000) and Djokovic’s victory over Medvedev Australian Open 2021 Night 13 – Men’s Final (1,173,000) drawing strong numbers, though down year-on-year. More than enough for Nine to bring home the win in both primary (27.4%) & network (35.7%) shares.
The ABC deliver another solid night for non-sport, non-reality fans. First-run episodes of Grand Designs New Zealand (438,000), Aussie drama Harrow (419,000), and Silent Witness (256,000) draw a reasonable share of viewers. A repeat of Killing Eve (59,000) rounds out their night, landing the ABC third in primary (11.7%) & fourth in network (15.8%) shares.
10’s Sunday continues to be perplexing. The Project (280,000 6:30pm; 420,000 7pm) starts slow, though The Amazing Race Australia (523,000) does win the light entertainment battle in the timeslot. New then repeat episodes of US drama FBI: Most Wanted (201,000; 126,000) drops over half its lead-in and underwhelms. 10 fourth in primary (11.6%), though third in network (18%) shares.
