10’s schedule let down by an underperforming Bachelorette.
It was light on for everyone after 7:30pm, with The Bachelorette Australia (499,000) topping the timeslot for 10 with its lacklustre ratings. It improved afterwards with Gogglebox Australia (632,000) but not by much, but enough for the 10/Foxtel co-pro to be the highest rating non-News program of the night.
Seven’s regular Thursday triple run of Home and Away (484,000) was close but couldn’t beat 10, and all The Front Bar season finale (479,000) at 8:30pm could do was maintain the mediocrity. Nine’s encores of Paramedics (430,000) and King’s Cross ER (339,000 | 296,000) did them few favours.
All three shows lifted for Thursday, though Sunrise (253,000) and The Today Show (237,000) had a larger jump than ABC Breakfast (189,000). Today won the East Coast by nearly 20,000 viewers.
