Women in League round live on FOX LEAGUE

The Roosters road towards a title three-peat meets the Sharks Live on Super Saturday at 7.30pm this week as Fox League celebrates Women In League Round, on Foxtel.

No team has won three premierships-in-a-row since the Parramatta Eels from 1981-83, as the Roosters superstar line-up consisting of Sonny Bill Williams, Brett and Josh Morris, Joseph Manu, Daniel Tupou and the man pulling the strings – Luke Keary, zone in on another shot at history.

For the chasing pack the order of the top 8 is far from settled, with every game in the next two weeks crucial in the journey to NRL Premiership glory.

On Thursday Night Leaguethe Rabbitohs want a win against the Bulldogs to avoid a road trip in week one of the finals, while keeping their faint hopes of a top four finish alive.

On Friday Night Football, Host Jess Yates is joined by Panthers legend Greg Alexander from 5.00pm as the mountain men are just one-win shy of securing the minor premiership. Straight after at 7.55pm, the Eels are keen to silence any doubts that they aren’t a premiership threat by adding to the Broncos 2020 misery.

This weekend on Super Saturday with Yvonne Sampson, the 13th Immortal Mal Meninga, Cooper Cronk and Michael Ennis get us going from 2.30pm with the possible return of ‘Tommy Turbo’ – Tom Trbojevic for the Sea Eagles against a Titans side growing in confidence.

The clinical Melbourne Storm led by Cameron Smith take on the Wests Tigers as the departing Benji Marshall looks for a big scalp to keep new clubs interested. Then at 7.30pm, one of the best teams of the modern era, the Roosters, will take on the Sharks buoyed by the form of playmaker Shaun Johnson.

Sunday Ticket sees a return to an afternoon double-header from 2.00pm with Raiders vs Warriors, and Kalyn Ponga’s return for the Knights against the Dragons and their livewire fullback Matt Dufty from 4.00pm.

Celebrity chef Matt Moran joins the Sunday Night with Matty Johns live from 6.00pm, followed by The Big League Wrap.
