Channel 10 leaves THE MASKED SINGER on Mondays and Tuesdays and sends FAMILY FEUD to Sundays

10 has advised that The Masked Singer will continue to air on Mondays and Tuesdays, rather than shifting to a planned Sunday / Monday combo from next week.

The Masked Singer’s premiere was down on last year’s launch, but had tough competition last night from the season final of Australian Ninja Warrior and Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife.

Although 10 may want to shift the show away from next Sunday’s Australian Ninja Warrior: State of Origin special and The Farmer Wants a Wife, it will still maintain those two programs next Monday. It cannot even avoid The Block / Farmer combo as these two programs also air on Mondays.

The thinking may be, that moving to a Monday / Tuesday combo will give the show much more room to breathe on Tuesdays, which has been Seven’s weak spot as of late. The momentum for The Masked Singer on Tuesday nights, may help to elevate the Monday figures.

As a result, Family Feud will now air Sundays.

The 10 guide has been updated

Family Feud: Sunday 16th August at 7:30pm

The Masked Singer: Monday 17th August and Tuesday 17th August at 7:30pm

The Bachelor: continues in its Wednesday and Thursday slot
