Sports fans can settle in and enjoy a week-long special of 50 great sports documentaries when FOX SPORTS presents a dedicated pop-up channel available on Foxtel
Commencing Monday, June 8 from 9.00am, FOX SPORTS More 507 will present 50 documentaries throughout the week shining a spotlight on sports including AFL, NRL, cricket, motorsport, golf, boxing and tennis, with each night of the week dedicated to a sporting theme.
MONDAY, JUNE 8 – GOLF
We tee off the first night with golf featuring some of the PGA Tour 2020 documentaries including ‘Tiger Tales’ where PGA tour players share their best stories about 82-time winner Tiger Woods, ‘X-Factor’ exploring the rise of Xander Schauffele and his caddy Austin Kaiser, as well as the story of one of greatest and most popular Open champions in history in ‘Champions Story: Seve Ballesteros’.
TUESDAY, JUNE 9 – FOOTBALL
We move to the football field with highlighted programming including ‘November 16’, reliving one of the greatest nights in the history of Australian football, the night 10 years ago when Australia qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10 – TENNIS
From the hard court to the clay court, we celebrate some of the greatest players in tennis history including the king of clay Rafael Nadal during his 10th victory at Roland Garros in ‘La Decima’.
THURSDAY, JUNE 11 – BOXING, DARTS & SNOOKER
On Thursday night, fans are in for a triple threat of action focused around boxing, darts and snooker. One of the key features is ‘The Mavericks’, a miniseries exploring the maverick sportsman in a range of sports and how they took on the world on their own terms. Fans can also re-live Anthony Joshua’s fight against Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley in ‘Return to Wembley’.
FRIDAY, JUNE 12 – CRICKET
Get up close and personal and delve into the world of cricket with highlights including ‘Australia v India’ showcasing what makes the rivalry between the two nations so special including the famously tied series of 1986 and Australia’s drought-breaking 2004 series win in India. A year on from the Cape Town ball tampering scandal, take a look back in ‘Downfall’ exploring its causes, reaction and penalties and how Australian cricket has gone about healing.
SATURDAY, JUNE 13 – MOTORSPORT
We close out the week racing around the track taking a look into some of our local heroes in ‘Bathurst Heroes & Legends’ hosted by Neil Crompton and joined by Allan Moffat, Jim Richards, Fred Gibson, Colin Bond and Mike Raymond as they revisit some of the finest achievements of the biggest names to have conquered the mountain. The intense and high-octane world of Supercars racing to be seen like never before in the eight-part docuseries ‘Inside Line – A Season with Erebus Motorsport’ documenting the challenging campaign for the Holden Squad running under the Penrite Racing banner with drivers David Reynolds and Anton De Pasquale alongside team owner Betty Klimenko and CEO Barry Ryan.
