The new season of Who Do You Think You Are? continues this week with the third episode to focus on actor Cameron Daddo.
This season, viewers can expect tears, laughter, shocking discoveries, emotional revelations and some intriguing surprises.
Long intrigued by the origins of his surname, actor Cameron Daddo travels across the globe to the Channel Islands and discovers a thousand years of noble ancestors.
Meanwhile, his mother’s lineage, though devoid of noble origins, reveals a surprising parallel to his father’s. Cameron will discover both sides of his family feature love stories of staggering proportions.
Commenting on his episode, Cameron Daddo said;
“Two beautiful love stories. One six generations ago and another back through further generations, yet love is the through-line. I feel incredibly grateful that I have that to look back on. I come from love stories. Brings up such – such deep emotion.”
The 2020 season will also feature Julie Bishop, Kat Stewart, Denise Scott, Lisa Curry, and Troy Cassar-Daley.
One of the cast discovers the father they never knew was a true patriot who devoted his life to his country, while another traces lost German roots. One learns about heroic wartime adventures and another gets insights into their Indigenous history.
