Australian and New Zealand combat sports fans will be treated to exclusively live UFC action with ESPN broadcasting UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs Burns.

The UFC action heads to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, as former UFC Welterweight champion and current #1 ranked contender, Tyron Woodley tries to secure victory against Gilbert Burns.

With current UFC Welterweight king Kamaru Usman waiting for his next opponent, Woodley could make a statement at the UFC Apex, and set up the next showdown in the division, and a shot at his former crown.

Elsewhere on the card, Blagoy Ivanov and Augusto Sakai clash in a heavyweight co-main event, whilst Kevin Holland and Daniel Rodriguez meet at welterweight.

Impressive lightweight Rooseveldt Roberts faces Brok Weaver, and Mackenzie Dern faces off against Hannah Cifers to complete the main card.

ESPN will have extensive coverage of the UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs Burns card, with the UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs Burns Prelims beginning at 8am AEST on ESPN, before being followed by the main card at 11am AEST.

As always, ESPN will have dedicated coverage of fight week in Las Vegas, headlined by UFC Fight Camp, with UFC President Dana White a special guest in the lead up to UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs Burns.

This special UFC Fight Camp episode will premiere on ESPN at 5pm AEST, Friday May 29.

Friday evening and Saturday will also see ESPN dedicated to the Octagon, as ESPN carries over 40 hours of UFC content.

This includes UFC flashbacks, UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs Burns previews and UFC classic showdowns, such as UFC185: Pettis vs Dos Anjos, UFC Main Event: Adesanya vs Silva, UFC Main Event: Holm vs Shevchenko and UFC Main Event: St Pierre vs Condit.
