Q2 Programming Wrap | Seven unleash BIG BROTHER, MURDER IN THE OUTBACK, and more

Seven were a little slow off the mark with the tepid ratings for My Kitchen Rules, however, quarter 2 has shown improvement with the Jamie Durie led, House Rules. Even with production being halted on a number of high profile shows due to COVID-19 restrictions, Seven has a number of shows in the pipeline to improve performance.

The Amazing Race

The Amazing Race 32 is the upcoming thirty-second installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race. It will feature eleven teams of two in a race around the world for a US$1 million grand prize. The season will premiere with a two-hour special in the US on May 20, 2020 and expected soon after on Seven.

Seven remains coy as to whether Miss Fisher, Rostered On, Pooch Perfect and Highway Patrol will proceed with new seasons.

Fat Pizza is currently in pre production so will not return until the back half of the year.

Regular Old Bogan will also premiere in the second half of the year.

Seven has no comment on when/if Black-ish will return to the network.

Miss Scarlet and the Duke is coming soon to the multi channel.

Seven would not comment on when/if Hospital or The Frankie Drake Mysteries would return.

At the upfronts last year, James Warburton announced a refresh for the channel but to date, nothing has come to pass.

Seven would not comment on when/if Ink Master or Ex on the Beach would return. 

Pulled from the schedule

Seven has Little Big Shots US, Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, Border Security, World’s Most Shocking Emergency Calls and Crazy on a Plane as being pulled from the schedule. No return dates were available but Seven assures viewers they will return.

A number of multi-channel shows have been left mid-season with Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Lifting, Graveyard Carz and Ink Master Redemption all waiting for a slot.
