The 10 Network has now officially confirmed a second season for Peter Helliar produced comedy series How To Stay Married.
Filming will commence next month in Melbourne on the comedy series which also stars Lisa McCune and Darren Gilshenan.
TV Blackbox exclusively revealed back in February pre-production planning, and writing had commenced on a second season which is now expected to air late in 2019.
A 10 spokesperson confirmed the renewal telling TV Blackbox;
“We are thrilled to welcome Pete Helliar, Lisa McCune, and the gang, back for another season of How To Stay Married.
Ratings for the first series of How To Stay Married started strong but subsequent episodes levelled out below 300000 viewers.
How to Stay Married is based on a 2013/14 ABC comedy It’s a Date, which was also written and directed by Helliar. TV Blackbox has previously reported 10 has acquired repeat broadcast rights to all 16 episodes of the original series.
How To Stay Married is a co-production of Princess Pictures and Pablo Pictures.
Love to see it in the USA!
