The premiership decider looms as a thrilling finale to the 2019 AFLW season with the Crows and Blues emerging as the competition’s form teams at the business end of the year.
Both sides recorded dominant preliminary final victories to reach the Grand Final, Adelaide hammering Geelong by 66 points and Carlton equally impressive in its upset 36-point win over
Fremantle, which entered the finals with an imposing 6-1 home and away record.
In Phillips, the Crows boast the competition’s most decorated player, while Ebony Marinoff, Chelsea Randall and Anne Hatchard are also among the AFLW’s elite.
However, Harris is a genuine match-winner whose high-flying marking and prodigious right boot give Carlton the League’s most dangerous tall forward, while the Blues’ midfield led by Brianna Davey, Lauren Brazzale and Breann Moody is the equal of any in the game.
