Round One sees the Melbourne Stars take on the Adelaide Strikers on home soil in an electrifying season opener that will set the tone for an epic summer of cricket on Network Ten.

Tune in to see Kevin Pieterson make his debut with the Stars in a bid to make up for the heartache of last season.

The match will be broadcast live across Australia except in Queensland. Many fans are upset that Ten’s weekday Big Bash coverage will be delayed by one hour in Qld for The Project.

Tonights Schedule
Sydney 7:30pm live on TEN
Melbourne 7:30pm live on TEN
Brisbane 7:30pm on TEN
Adelaide 7:00pm live on TEN
Perth 4:30pm live on ONE (8.30pm replay on TEN)

The bumper opening weekend also includes a Friday night blockbuster between the Sydney Sixers and the Melbourne Renegades at the SCG; an Saturday showdown between the Melbourne Stars and the Hobart Hurricanes at the MCG; and a Sunday showstopper between the Sydney Thunder and the Brisbane Heat at ANZ Stadium.

The post-Christmas period will see 22 matches played in 21 days, all broadcast exclusively on TEN.

The eagerly anticipated 2014-15 season will see more concentrated action, with each of the eight clubs playing in four home and four away matches around the country.

The semi-finals will be played across the Australia Day weekend, before the season culminates in the Big Final on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
