Survivor and The Traitors return with new twists

Australian Survivor: Rivals will return with a global-first theme, bringing together two evenly matched tribes in Malaysia, with both the theme and location previously revealed by TV Blackbox.

The season will feature sporting identities, television personalities and everyday Australians, with Robbie Farah, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Bernard Curry, Lincoln Lewis, Mitch Churi and Alisa and Lysandra Fraser among the announced contestants.

Meanwhile, The Traitors Australia will return with everyday Australians taking on the game, following the record-breaking third season.

Gretel Killeen will welcome a new group of players to the manor, where they will attempt to deceive, banish and outlast one another for a cash prize.

The shift away from celebrity contestants brings a new dynamic to the format, which has now become one of 10’s key reality franchises.

Australian Ninja Warrior enters a new era

Australian Ninja Warrior will return with a new course and a new generation of competitors.

Robert Irwin joins Georgie Tunny and Beau Ryan as hosts, with the series set to showcase competitors tackling demanding physical challenges.

The return was previously confirmed back in July, with TV Blackbox understanding the new season is set to film in Melbourne, likely at Melbourne Showgrounds.

From the producers of Grand Designs Australia and Luxe Listings Sydney, Aussie Auctions will follow homeowners, prospective buyers and property experts through the high-pressure process of selling homes under the hammer.

Extraordinary Homes Australia will see popular Selling Houses Australia presenter Wendy Moore visit distinctive properties across the country, from coastal homes and bush retreats to compact, off-grid builds.

The series will explore the stories behind the homes and the people who designed, built and live in them.

Dogs At Work will follow working dogs and their handlers, with Bluey voice actor Melanie Zanetti narrating the new series.

The dogs featured include truffle hunters, border protection dogs, animals that hunt invasive species and seagull chasers tasked with protecting people’s food.

For the network that brought viewers The Dog House and Dogs Behaving Badly (with no word on either show’s return), another series about dogs getting up to things feels very on-brand.

At least this time, the dogs are clocking on for work.

Denham Hitchcock investigates the Peter Falconio case and serial conman Hamish McLaren in two new documentaries coming to 10 in 2027 (image – 10)

Denham Hitchcock investigates two true crime cases

With more time on his hands now, journalist Denham Hitchcock will front two new documentary specials, The Falconio Witness and The Hunt for Hamish.

The Falconio Witness revisits the murder of Peter Falconio 25 years ago, examining conflicting accounts from investigators and featuring the testimony of a witness who claims to have watched the events unfold.

The Hunt for Hamish investigates serial conman Hamish McLaren (also the subject of a Paramount+ drama due later this year), who has returned to the dating scene following his release from prison.

Both documentaries will examine cases that have attracted significant public attention, with Hitchcock and his team revisiting the evidence and questions surrounding each investigation.

Comedy favourites return alongside reality hits

10’s returning entertainment slate includes Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats, Taskmaster Australia and Shaun Micallef’s Parents’ Evening.

Tom Gleisner, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang will return for another season of HYBPA?, while Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald will continue dissecting the week’s headlines on The Cheap Seats.

Taskmaster Australia is set for its sixth season, with the previously announced cast of Charlie Pickering, Frankie McNair, Shane Jacobson, Tom Walker and Urzila Carlson taking on the challenges set by Tom Gleeson and Lesser Tom Cashman.

Shaun Micallef and his son Gabe will also return with more episodes from the first season of Parents’ Evening, which pairs well-known Australians with a parent or child for a cross-generational game show.

Elsewhere, Big Brother recently returned for 2026 following its move to Brisbane, with live nominations, live evictions and 24/7 access continuing to feature – though no word on a 2027 season (yet).

MasterChef Australia will also be back, with Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Sofia Levin returning to the judging panel.

Gogglebox Australia is set for its 25th season, while The Graham Norton Show, new episodes of Wheel of Fortune Australia, Deal Or No Deal and Millionaire Hot Seat are also returning.

FIFA Women’s World Cup leads 10’s sporting line-up

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 will headline 10’s sporting coverage, with the CommBank Matildas heading to South America for the tournament.

The network and Paramount+ will continue coverage of the A-League Men, Ninja A-League, CommBank Socceroos and CommBank Matildas.

The MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia will race on the streets of Adelaide for the first time, while the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix returns to Albert Park with Australia’s first-ever Sprint Race.

More factual programming and news confirmed

Beyond the new announcements, 10 confirmed the return of free-to-air premieres Selling Houses Australia and Love It or List It Australia.

Sydney Harbour Cops will continue its first season with new episodes, while previously announced series The Animal Sanctuary will follow Tasmania’s Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary as it works to give vulnerable animals a second chance.

The Great Aussie Christmas which commenced casting back in August, is a shoppable TV special presented in partnership with Bunnings Warehouse and hosted by former Bachelor Matty J and Laura Byrne, and arrives on 10 from November.

The network also confirmed its ongoing news offering, including 10 News Lunchtime, local weekday 5pm bulletins, national weekend news, 10 Late News and 10 News+ on Sundays.

Missing from the announcements was The Amazing Race Australia, axed just before production this year with host Beau Ryan at the time suggesting a 2027 return, although TV Blackbox understands filming is more likely next year for a possible 2028 broadcast.
