SBS is searching for passionate quiz contenders with a specialist subject and strong general knowledge to compete on the new season of Mastermind Australia.
Casting is now open for the ninth season of the SBS quiz show, produced by BBC Studios Productions Australia, with Marc Fennell returning as host and applications now open to quiz fans who think they have what it takes to step into the spotlight.
The casting call reads:
“Mastermind Australia is back!
Ready to face the spotlight and prove you’re the ultimate quiz champion?
We’re on the hunt for contenders who are passionate about their specialist subject and confident in their general knowledge.
Whether you’re unbeatable at pub quizzes, the go-to person for random facts, or the friend everyone calls during trivia night, this is your moment to shine!”
Contestants will face questions on their chosen specialist subject before putting their broader general knowledge to the test, with the series asking contenders to answer as many questions as possible within a limited time.
