The Banker is officially back in business, with additional casting now open for another season of Deal or No Deal Australia and the chance to pocket some serious cash.
Production on the third season for 10 commenced in early February, as first reported by TV Blackbox, with another substantial 195 episode order in play for the Grant Denyer hosted weeknight game show.
The official casting call asks, “Do you have what it takes to beat the Banker?”
It also prompts would be contestants with the familiar question, “Will you listen to your head or your heart? Which case number will you pick?”

As we exclusively reported last year, Deal or No Deal was facing an uncertain future, with the impending return of Millionaire Hot Seat raising questions about its place in 10’s early evening line up.
But with 10 News+ cut back to a 30 minute timeslot and the network encouraged by the show’s performance at 7pm, it secured a surprise renewal, which was good news for fans of the show and the local production sector.
Hosted by Grant Denyer, the revived format returned to Australian screens in early 2024 and, after shifting timeslots across its run and surviving scheduling shake ups, has now settled into the 6.30pm weeknight slot.
Filming takes place at Docklands Studios Melbourne, with applicants required to be aged 18 years or over to take part.
