GOOD MORNING SAMOA. Roll up your sleeves, it’s about to get messy! 10 Castaways remain. Let’s recap Australian Survivor: Titans Vs Rebels S9 Ep 17, on Channel 10 and 10 play.
Welcome to Day 30-something on Australian Survivor, we begin with a new alliance alert! It’s the WELL-ness alliance. Kirby, Ri, Feras and Jaden solidify their new alliance over the well.
The tribe is still recovering from the blindsiding of Aileen. “Hey Kirby, why did you get rid of Aileen?” Raymond innocently asks.
“Because she got in the way of me and Feras.” She tells him, upfront.
It’s ironic. Kirby blindsided Aileen because she was a wedge Kirby between Feras and now Kirby has created a wedge between Feras and Alex.
“Feras and I are breaking up,” Alex announces, feeling rejected with Kirby’s big move. Unfortunately for Alex, it’s a case of unrequited love as Feras laughs with around the well with his new buddies.
But Feras and Alex aren’t the only ones on the onset of breaking up. Kitty and Caroline start nervously dancing around the “we’re always going to be friends, right?” chat as they toy with the idea of siding with different alliances. Oh god, we’re less then 10 minutes into this episode and its already too much for my heart to take.
Today’s immunity challenge looks like some rejected idea from Fear Factor. Everyone needs to hang upside down on a rope and pray the tide doesn’t take them out. WHAT AM I WATCHING? Raymond and Jaden are too smart for this BS and throw the challenge faster then Jaden drops the leg day challenge.
Rianna and Alex are the only ones crazy enough to remain doing this challenge for a whole hour as high tide smashes against their faces.
“Where else would you rather be!” Alex beams, sarcastically.
“Yep, I’m done.” Alex has finally decided. Rianna wins immunity again and is safe from tonight’s votes.
Ri wins immunity again!
Going into tonight’s tribal council; Alex, Caroline, Kitty, Mark and Valeria make their first plan to vote for Jaden (because they can). Secret agent Kitty tells Rianna the plan, and word somehow gets back to Jaden that his head is on the chopping block. Which is completely insane to Jaden because according to him – the only thing on the chopping block is all the meal prep he’s done.
“What a shock, I’ve been prepping everything! I think I’ve chopped like 10 coconuts,” Jaden starts to freak out. The paranoia sets in, and he gets into an argument with Caroline over the texture of cooked coconut rice.
Even Caroline knows it’s not like Jaden to lose his cool, she suspects a snitch in the alliance and approaches Kitty – who can’t lie. “You haven’t chatted to Kirby?” Caroline asks.
“I’ve only spoken to Ri,” Kitty replies.
So the wheels didn’t roll off the bus like everyone hoped but it’s still a real bust up. The K&C (Kitty and Caroline) Coaches alliance has officially hit the end of the road.
At least Kitty and Caroline’s breakup was amicable. In terms of the Alex-Feras divorce; Alex wants the car, the house and kids. Alex is annoyed at Feras because he wasn’t invited to on the little trip to the well at the start of the episode. “If you switch alliances that easily, is it really worth keeping you?” Feras questions.
“Don’t get salty, bro.” Alex gaslights.
After that comment, Feras now has the ick for Alex and goes to chat to Kirby. “We can get rid of him tomorrow, or we could get rid of him tonight.” Feras enthuses.
“We can,” Kirby raises her eyebrows.
Alex and Feras’ post-breakup argument at tribal council is messier than a MAFS commitment ceremony. Whilst they throw more shade at each other, and argue over who’s flexible and who’s a floater (whatever that means). Mark taps Raymond on the shoulder and tells him to vote Jaden. Remember that little piece of information.
Jaws music plays in the background as the sharks start to circle in on Alex. And as JLP asks if anyone has an idol, Feras tells Alex to go for it. Alex clears his throat, “I’m going to play my idol for… Valeria.” WHAT?
So far, 0 idols have been played properly and Alex is about to add his idol to the tally.
1 Vote Valeria (Does not count), 4 Votes Alex, 5 Votes Jaden.
Feras’ stressed face says it all. Alex was meant to go home but who could have possibly stuffed up the vote?
He compared gains with Viola, he only shot threes, he thought the immunity necklace looked girly, he chopped 10 coconuts. There goes the loosest unit Australian Survivor has ever seen. Jaden, you will be truly missed!
GOOD NIGHT SAMOA!
