Acorn TV has officially greenlit a fourth season of its popular crime drama MY LIFE IS MURDER, starring Lucy Lawless.
Currently in production in New Zealand, the series continues to captivate audiences with its unique blend of crime-solving and drama.
This season introduces eight new mysteries, each presenting a unique world and diabolical killer. Alexa Crowe (played by Lawless) is not alone in her quest for justice. Tech expert Madison (Ebony Vagulans) takes on a more significant role, enhancing their mentor-mentee dynamic.
Cafe owner Reuben (Joe Naufahu), Alexa’s brother Will (Martin Henderson), and Detective Harry (Rawiri Jobe) are also part of her support system, along with her quirky cat, Chowder.
Alexa, emboldened by changes in her life, is ready to face past demons and eagerly anticipates her future. She remains a formidable force, unraveling complex cases and revealing deeply hidden secrets. The show, set in Auckland, balances suspenseful crime-solving with moments of light-hearted fun.
“It’s been great getting the gang back together again for this new season of MY LIFE IS MURDER. These episodes have a bit of everything – from homicidal hairdressers to wicked widows, brutal ballet to deadly soufflés, and we are having an absolute ball filming this series once again,”
Lawless shared enthusiastically.
“I can’t wait for our fans around the world to see the magic that our fabulous cast and crew have been working hard to produce.”
