The service is competitively priced to rival Foxtel’s news streaming platform Flash, which offers more than 25 live news streaming channels, including Sky News, CNN, Fox News, BBC and MSNBC for just $8 per month.

Paul Whittaker, Chief Executive Officer of Sky News Australia, emphasized the significance of this development for the network’s digital strategy.

“We’ve seen exceptional growth across our digital platforms over the past few years as more than 8 million Australians seek out our content online each month,”

“The launch of the skynews.com.au streaming subscription service is a pivotal moment in the evolution of our digital strategy that will provide our highly engaged and growing online audience around-the-clock access to quality news, opinion and documentary content across four dedicated news channels.”

Host Paul Murray lauded the new service as a revolutionary way to access Sky News.

“The joy of the technology being launched means you can take Sky with you wherever you are and it will get it into the hands of many as people as possible,” he remarked.

Apart from the station’s prominent hosts, the service will also feature content from Sharri Markson, Chris Kenny, Rita Panahi, and others, along with political insights from Kieran Gilbert, Andrew Clennell, business expertise from Ross Greenwood, and news updates by hosts like Laura Jayes and Peter Stefanovic.

Sky News Australia ensures that news and information on its website and app will remain accessible without charge.

  1. It’s amazing what Sky News would do to get at least some rating points. It is perceived the only way Sky News will get anywhere at all if the get virtually a new team.

  2. Funny how the ABC comments don’t like Sky News why do they comment I know shhhhhhh don’t tell I watch sky news lol

  3. Why Comcast still letting Sky News Australia use their “Sky News” name? Is News Corp Australia ashamed to use “Fox News” or “Talk TV” brand for their right-wing propaganda channel? 😂

  4. Sky News is a Murdoch media propaganda machine
Murdoch is just getting greedy and Sky News us so far right it’s amazing that they are still in the square box and haven’t fallen off
