Outside the footy season means Thursdays are a mess.

Channel 9

Nine tick up at the end of the week, with A Current Affair (563,000) and RBT (389,000) keeping the early night audience entertained. The rest of the medi-ob-doc focused night then bent to Emergency (309,000) and a repeat of Big Miracles (135,000), before dropping a new ep of US drama Chicago Med (57,000).

Nine first in both primary (19.4%) and network (27.3%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (389,000 7pm; 337,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) delivered a predictably good audience for Seven, which all but vanished for a repeat of MOVIE: Kingsman: The Golden Circle (167,000).

Seven second in both primary (19.1%) and network (27%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (397,000) opened the night as the ABC’s consistent best, before Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific (331,000) retained a large proportion of the audience. Repeats of Grand Designs (291,000), Miriam Margolyes: Australia Unmasked (155,000), and Old People’s Home for Teenagers (23,000) filled out the schedule.

ABC third in both primary (13.4%) and network (19.9%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (160,000 6:30pm; 248,000 7pm) ticked up for 10 at the end of the week, largely due to the success of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (353,000). Not receiving as much audience love were repeats of Law & Order: SVU (137,000), The Cheap Seats (83,000), and Blue Bloods (45,000).

10 fourth in both primary (9.8%) and network (16.9%) rankings.

SBS fifth in both primary (4.6%) and network (9%) rankings.
