Nine in all sorts of trouble with their new dating reality show slipping quickly into obscurity.

Channel 7

A strong Wednesday night for Seven that started with a lower than usual Home & Away (398,000) at 7pm, and the season five finale of SAS Australia (351,000) also keeping a solid audience. Documentary series A Year on Planet Earth (147,000) drops away, followed by The Amazing Race US (52,000) which closed out the late night.

Channel 10

The Project (157,000 6:30pm; 252,000 7pm) remained solid, bucking the usual trend for 10. The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (328,000) was again consistent for the network before kicking goals with another great win for the Matildas:
Football: Matildas v Chinese Taipei pre-game (247,000 (203,000 10 SYD/MEL/ADL; 44,000 10 Bold BNE/PER))
Football: Matildas v Chinese Taipei (456,000 (370,000 10 BNE/SYD/MEL/ADL; 86,000 10 Bold PER))
Football: Matildas v Chinese Taipei post-game (158,000 (123,000 10 BNE/SYD/MEL/ADL; 35,000 10 Bold PER)).

10 second in primary (16.2%) and tied third in network (24.1%) rankings.

Channel 9

While A Current Affair (621,000) was by far Nine’s strongest, the downward trend for My Mum, Your Dad (279,000) on first run linear broadcast should be a serious concern. Love Island Australia (95,000) kept only a small audience, with a fragment of that hanging around for The Equalizer (35,000).

Nine third in primary (15.4%) and tied third in network (24.1%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (393,000)
led a stronger for the ABC, however a repeat of Hard Quiz (432,000) still drew a solid audience. Question Everything (351,000) maintained its rage (even lifting week-on-week), followed by a repeat of Would I Lie To You? (236,000) and another new episode of Planet America (188,000). A repeat of The Line of Beauty (25,000) closed out Aunty’s offerings.

ABC fourth in both primary (12.1%) and network (18.2%) rankings.
