Maintaining consistency at 7:30pm is proving elusive for every Network (Seven pulled it’s lowest weeknight primary share in months).

Channel 9

Nine scored wins with both A Current Affair (563,000) and the final Wednesday edition of The Block (611,000). After, the ICC Cricket World Cup: Australia v Netherlands (165,000 9Gem S1/331,000 Nine S1; 300,000 Nine Innings break; 110,000 Nine S2) collected a reasonable audience as it ran into the late night with the Aussies delivering a big win.

Nine first in both primary (25.7%) and network (35.9%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (398,000) led Seven’s night as their best, in no small part because Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly (283,000) was way off the pace. As entertaining as A Year on Planet Earth (178,000) is the poor lead-in means on linear broadcast it isn’t collecting a big audience. Amazing Race US (72,000) soldiers on before a late-night repeat of SAS Australia (24,000).

Seven second in both primary (14.9%) and network (23.5%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (421,000) and the season eight finale of Hard Quiz (421,000) set a strong base for the rest of the ABC’s comedy Wednesday. Question Everything (319,000) lifted week-on-week and dropped into a repeat of Would I Lie To You? (213,000), before a new season of Planet America (163,000)kicked off. After, repeats of QI (118,000) and Death in Paradise (29,000) maintained smaller audiences.

ABC third in both primary (12.2%) and network (18.2%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (172,000 6:30pm; 252,000 7pm) sees a slight bump on the previous night and previous week for 10, however its The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (325,000) that continues to prove its value for the network as it landed second in the primetime slot. Heat (117,000) underwhelmed, offering very little to US comedy So Help Me Todd (53,000).

10 fourth in both primary (9.2%) and network (15%) rankings.
