In the lead-up to its anticipated return, BINGE unveiled the teaser trailer and promotional visuals for Julia’s second season, an eight-episode comedic narrative inspired by the illustrious chef, Julia Child.

Subscribers will be treated to a triple-header on its debut, scheduled for 16 November, with successive episodes releasing every subsequent Thursday.

Season two witnesses Julia’s soaring fame, as she confronts the implications of stardom on herself, her crew, and the show. The plot thickens when Julia and her dedicated spouse, Paul, journey back from Simca’s French abode, only to realise her triumph has reshaped their world.

Julia’s characteristic joie de vivre takes centre stage as she, with her ensemble, manoeuvre through challenges at WGBH, an encounter with the White House, and shadows from their history. All the while, she remains committed to championing women-centric public TV and addressing contemporary societal concerns.

The series features a cast ensemble with familiar faces like Lancashire, David Hyde Pierce, Bebe Neuwirth, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz, Fiona Glascott, and Robert Joy.

For enthusiasts aiming to recap, the inaugural season of Julia is currently streamable on BINGE.

Behind this production is the collaboration of Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment. Chris Keyser functions as both the showrunner and executive producer, sharing the latter role with the show’s founder, Daniel Goldfarb. Additional executive production credits include Erwin Stoff, Kimberly Carver, Charles McDougall, Donna Bloom, and Erica Lipez. Todd Schulkin, representing The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, chips in as a consulting producer.

Viewers can catch Julia Season 2 on BINGE, and Foxtel’s Showcase channel at 8:30pm, and accessible through Foxtel On Demand from 16 November.
