The beloved Australian improvisation show, “Thank God You’re Here”, is poised for a thrilling comeback tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play.

The premiere episode will see Celia Pacquola, take on hosting duties, and is set to welcome a stellar line-up of comedic talents including Urzila Carlson, Aaron Chen, Julia Zemiro, and Mark Bonanno.

As these humour luminaries step through the iconic blue door, the audience should be ready for a riot of unscripted hilarity.

The programme’s revival isn’t just about new faces; the anticipation also surrounds the reveal of this season’s legendary guest judge. While the show initially ran from 2006 to 2007 on Channel 10, with Shane Bourne as the host, its final season aired on Channel Seven in 2009.

Daniel Monaghan, the senior vice president content & programming at Paramount ANZ, expressed his enthusiasm, remarking that

“Thank God You’re Here” was instrumental in celebrating a plethora of “intelligent, lively and hilarious Australian talent.”

Echoing Monaghan’s sentiments, Michael Hirsh of Working Dog conveyed his excitement about introducing the iconic show to a fresh audience.

“The time feels right for a new ensemble of comedians to walk through the blue door,”

Hirsh commented. With a revitalised crew and the ever-vibrant Celia Pacquola at the helm, fans and newcomers alike are eagerly anticipating the fresh wave of humour the show promises to deliver.
