In an exclusive coverage by Nine, the final battle in the Ashes series, the fifth test, will be broadcast live and free from 7.30pm AEST Thursday, July 27.

Australia has successfully retained the urn but is now aiming to prevent England from drawing the series. The action can be streamed on 9Now, as Australia fights to achieve a series win on English soil for the first time since 2001.

Australia’s prowess will be tested at The Oval in London where they aim to quash the spirits of the England team and their fervent fans. Marnus Labuschagne, after his outstanding century in the rain-curtailed fourth test, will be seeking robust support from openers Usman Khawaja and David Warner to guide Australia towards their third victory in this Ashes series.

The Australian team, under the captaincy of Pat Cummins, is all set to counteract England’s flamboyant and seemingly unflappable “Bazball” batting approach that proved victorious in the third test.

The Nine’s commentary team will be spearheaded by Roz Kelly.

Expert analysis will be provided by the likes of former Australian captain Mark Taylor, Ashes victor Ian Healy, and ex-international Callum Ferguson. Mark Taylor will be joined at the ground by Louise Ransome, and 9News reporter Sam Djodan will be reporting directly from London.

The broadcasting schedule of the fifth test, to be aired in HD on 9Now, varies as per the different time zones in Australia.
