Australia’s hit reality TV show, “Farmer Wants A Wife,” reached new levels of drama and romance in Tuesday nights episode on Channel 7
Co-host Natalie Gruzlewski’s introduction of five new ladies left Farmer David in a state of confusion, wondering how the existing ladies would cope with the added pressure. “It’s going to be really interesting to see how they react, because this is not the same pressure as a hail storm or a drought,” he said.
The competition for alone time with the farmers was intense, with each farmer selecting one lady for a solo date by the end of the episode. Leah was thrilled when Farmer David hinted that she could be his next date, saying
“Knowing that time will come for the two of us hopefully on the next date is a really wonderful feeling.”
However, Frankie was left disappointed when she realized Brenton’s attention was not entirely focused on her. “If that’s how he feels then that’s how he feels and I don’t really want to be with someone if they don’t want to hundred percent be with me,” she said before leaving.
The next day, the show took a lighter turn with some country games, but the stakes were raised when the ultimate prize was announced: the most romantic 24-hour date ever for the winning farmer and his chosen lady. David’s farm emerged as the winner, but Leah was left heartbroken when Emily was chosen for the date instead.
“I was definitely shocked by his choice. I thought that Dave was going to choose me for the date tonight,” she said.
The other farmers also selected their chosen ladies for the solo dates. Farmer Andrew chose Claire, Farmer Brad picked Morgan, Farmer Brenton selected Rachel, and Farmer Matt went with Chelsea.
