Five new farmers are preparing to follow their hearts on the most romantic season ever of Farmer Wants A Wife, premiering Monday, 10 April on Channel 7 and 7plus.

For the first time on Australian television, every farmer will find real love. But who will be their lucky chosen ones?

This year’s farmers include Farmer Brad, 32, from Cootamundra, NSW; Farmer David, 29, from Pozieres, Queensland; Farmer Brenton, 26, from Darriman, Victoria; Farmer Matt, 23, from Bookham, NSW; and Farmer Andrew, 41, from Narromine, NSW.

Thousands of eligible single ladies have applied to meet the farmers. Come along on the journey as they meet their favourites and each invite their special five back to the farm to learn who will spark a love that can last forever.

Through first glances, first kisses, romantic dates and life-changing moments, this season will see every farmer find their true love.

Australia’s favourite bush fairy tale returns with host Samantha Armytage and co-host Natalie Gruzlewski playing cupid, as they guide the new crop of farmers on their journey to true love, and reunite with favourite past farmers and their families.

The road to real love will be even more romantic in 2023 with dreamy overnight dates, luxury country getaways and spectacular surprises that will set the stage for life-changing love stories.

With 170 marriages, five long-term relationships and 388 beautiful farmer babies worldwide, Farmer Wants A Wife is the world’s most successful dating show. In Australia alone, the series has resulted in nine marriages, five long-term relationships and 25 babies – and that’s before this year’s season even concludes.

Farmer Brad
32 | Crop and cattle farmer | Cootamundra, NSW

Brad is a crop and cattle farmer who enjoys being around people. He doesn’t take life too seriously but knows how to be serious when
it is needed.

Brad coaches a Rugby Union team, is a charity auctioneer and a go-to emcee for weddings. He’s a good communicator and has no trouble talking about his feelings or expressing them by writing a few songs.

Brad would like his partner to be his best mate as well as his teammate.

Farmer David
29 | Apple farmer | Pozieres, Queensland

David, a fourth-generation farmer, is outgoing and enjoys life while maintaining a focus on building a future on the farm.

For David, love is about finding the ultimate teammate to do life with. He’s looking for someone who shares his world on a deeper level than anyone else.

David believes he would bring a sense of adventure to a relationship, while being a caring and supportive partner.

Farmer Brenton
26 | Sheep and cattle farmer | Darriman, Victoria

This sixth-generation cattle farmer is always up for a good time and a laugh.

Brenton can be shy when he meets new people, but once he gets to know them, he’ll do everything he can to make sure they are having a good time. He loves country music but has a soft spot for Taylor Swift as well.

Brenton is looking for someone who’s kind, takes pride in herself, gets along with everyone and is easy to talk to.

Farmer Matt
23 | Sheep and cattle farmer | Bookham, NSW

Matt is a fifth-generation sheep and cattle farmer.

Matt claims to be well-versed in the world of cooking and cleaning. He’s well-travelled with lots of stories to tell, is a hopeless romantic and, as he knows lots of random facts, would make an excellent trivia partner. He’s also a volunteer firefighter.

Matt believes that the most exciting thing about love is that it can you hit you in the face when you least expect it. He can’t wait to meet the ladies on the show.

Farmer Andrew
41 | Crop and sheep farmer | Narromine, NSW

Andrew is a crop and sheep farmer who dreams big, looks at the bigger picture and knows that the only way is forward.

Not the typical farmer, Andrew’s interests stretch beyond the farm. He goes for Latin and ballroom dancing lessons once a week, plays tennis and golf and is an avid reader. He’s easy-going, fun, loyal, hardworking, engaging and honest.

Andrew believes that love comes when you least expect. It works in mysterious ways, requires nurturing, brings people together and bonds them closely. He’s looking for someone who knows what she wants, is open to self-growth and enjoys being in a relationship that encourages the freedom to be you.

Host – Samantha Armytage

I love being a part of this show. It’s genuine and our motives are pure: we want to help farmers find true love. What could be lovelier than that?

It’s a real honour to be the host this season. I loved getting to know all our gorgeous farmers. And I was so impressed by these women, who hope to make their lives in the country. My job is to introduce them and then try to guide them through the highs and lows of this journey to find true love. Oh, and also guide them through country life.

This is a huge season. For the first time, all five farmers find love, so I’m feeling very happy about my match making skills.

Co-Host – Natalie Gruzlewski

I love this show. This is my 13th season and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. It’s an incredible privilege to help people find love, especially for the farmers and women who have suffered through heartbreak or found the dating world difficult to navigate. Over the years, the show has built a legacy of successful couples worldwide.

Over 16 years in Australia alone! In Australia, we’ve had nine weddings, five long term relationships and 25 babies. The formula to success is really simple: it’s the farmers, ladies and their commitment to finding love. They are genuine, hopeful and open to finding love and when they do, it’s magic.

FARMER WANTS A WIFE season thirteen – premieres tonight 7:30pm and continues Tuesday and Wednesday on Channel 7 and 7plus.
