10’s new reality start to the year is setting a great platform for them to build on post-Easter.

Channel 9

Nine having a field day in Q1, with A Current Affair (666,000) remaining unbeaten since its return, and Married At First Sight (872,000) still close to double its nearest rival. The Hundred with Andy Lee (387,000) even lifted slightly on last week, easily winning its slot. Repeats of Botched (115,000) and La Brea (58,000) draw much smaller audiences by comparison to round out the night.

Nine first in both primary (26%) and network (33.7%) rankings.

Channel 7

Seven start with their best in Home & Away (488,000), which drops slightly into Australian Idol (423,000) in third in primetime, though delivers its second best this week – which on any other night would be considered a solid result…but third behind 10?! The Good Doctor (202,000) and Quantum Leap (86,000) add some interest in the late night.

Seven second in both primary (18.7%) and network (26.6%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (175,000 6:30pm; 290,000 7pm) kicks off a solid evening for 10, with Australian Survivor (467,000) staying strong and in second place in primetime. Repeats of NCIS (127,000), NCIS: Hawaii (87,000), and NCIS: Los Angeles (59,000) offer only fan service. If only they could solve their 5pm-6:30pm ratings problem.

10 third in both primary (11.3%) and network (17.4%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (430,000) and Better Date Than Never (233,000) pair for a reasonable start for the ABC followed by a night of repeats, leading with Extinction with David Attenborough (167,000), then into Lucy Worsley: Agatha Christie Mystery Queen (117,000), and Catalyst (32,000).

ABC fourth in both primary (9.4%) and network (15%) rankings.

SBS fifth in both primary (3.7%) and network (7.3%) rankings.
