After last nights EPIC tribal, tonight is going to be tough to beat. What will happen in tonight’s Australian Survivor: Heroes vs Villains episode 8? Let’s find out.

Day 17 begins and the villains camp are suffering from the ultimate tribal hangover. Did George really pull off the best tribal ever? Jordie and Simon are still glancing at the mound of sand Fraser used to sleep on, no way Fraser is gone.

The bromance are having a talk. It’s not good. Jimon is no more. It’s like one of those vague break up posts on insta. We’re not sure who dumped who but Jimon just want to keep things amicable until tribe swap.

Jordie cries his bromantic breakup to Shonee. After a D&M at the well, Jordie returns to camp and just as Shonee starts to follow him, she spots an idol. Better, it compliments her outfit.

Meanwhile in Switzerland, 11 castaways remain. Gerry returns to the heroes camp questioning life choices. I regretted taking my ex back once, now does Gerry too. The heroes are keen for a slideshow presentation about what Gerry learnt when on exchange at the villain’s camp.

Jerry’s always been an honest player but he’s a bit too honest when he calls out the heroes for sending him off to the villain’s camp over other players like Paige and Ben.

“I’m actually Gerry-strong. Gerry comes first now.”

Fast forward to the immunity challenge, the teams pair up to hold a cube for the longest. Sharni and Liz are in the zone and focus on their inner peace while the rest of the pairs crumble. After 3 losses, the Villain’s end their losing streak.

The heroes are going into tribal wearing their P-plates. So far, the only person who’s been voted out of the heroes demanded to sent home. So who should go next?

The meat tray alliance – Shaun, David, Sam and Matt – decide Ben is the heroes equivalent of fanboy Michael and needs to go. Sam instructs the girls to all vote for Gerry as a back up. It’s just too easy. Problem is Sharni is fiercely loyal to Gerry and refuses to write his name down.

Ben searches high and low and stumbles upon an idol. How convenient. It should see him into next week but needs to create a diversion.

Paige is upset that Sharni ‘threw’ the challenge. Most of the tribe don’t see it that way but any excuse to vote out someone other than themselves is good enough.

Paige calls out Sharni for throwing the tribal and Ben whispers to all the girls to sharpen their pitchforks. The heroes are stuck in the 1600’s and going on a witch hunt.

Ben strategically plays his idol and all the votes cast on him by the boys don’t count. All the girls votes on Sharni send her packing.

“Well if sticking up for your mates is the best thing you can do, maybe the biggest hero just went home.”
