No other network was in the hunt once the News was done.
The Block (1,005,000) is again untouchable in primetime for Nine, delivering a strong win. This doubled down as 60 Minutes (701,000) also delivered a big win following on with the Kate McClymont story on Charlie Teo. True crime series The First 48 (116,000) and Killer Couples (67,000) close out the night.
Nine first in both primary (28.2%) and network (40.8%) rankings.
Seven lean into Australia’s Got Talent (515,000) picks up a little on last Monday and offers another good audience for the evening. They then pivot into true crime series The Disappearance of Grace Millane (264,000) which doesn’t light any fires. Similarly, Born to Kill? (115,000) fills out the late night with a smaller audience.
Seven second in both primary (21.2%) and network (27.2%) rankings.
The ABC had another strong night, kicking off with the first of three eps of Inside the Sydney Opera House (330,000) before turning into the second ep of Significant Others (251,000) and another new ep of Silent Witness (182,000). Repeats of The Cry (45,000) and Shetland (DNR) finish out an evening of drama.
ABC third in both primary (9.5%) and network (13%) rankings.
The Sunday Project (215,000 6:30pm; 240,000 7pm) was broadcast on 10 with little effect, before it switched over to The Traitors Australia (221,000) which managed to draw in a few extra viewers but not enough to climb out of fourth in primetime. Into the later evening, US dramas NCIS: Hawaii (122,000) and a repeat of FBI (96,000) offer fan service only.
10 fourth in both primary (7.4%) and network (11.8%) rankings.
Curse of the Ancients: Dark Ages (135,000) kicked off SBS’s night of history, followed by repeats of Treasures of Istanbul (100,000) and The Death of Bruce Lee (33,000).
