Meanwhile, the ABC deliver another strong night of comedy.

Another big night for Nine, as A Current Affair (565,000) maintains its dominance at 7pm, and The Block (752,000) continues unbeaten in primetime. Remembering the Bali Bombings – 20 Years On (245,000) offers a slot-winner reminder of the tragedy 20 years ago, followed by a repeat of Westgate Bridge Disasters: The Untold Stories (148,000) and a new ep of Family Law (55,000).
Nine first in both primary (22%) and network (31.4%) rankings.

Home & Away (463,000) remains consistent for Seven. Kitchen Nightmares Australia (459,000) premieres with reasonable numbers though can’t climb out of second in the slot. Extreme Weddings Australia (168,000) draws the schedule into the later night, as Air Crash Investigations (112,000) and The Amazing Race US (44,000) complete the late night.
Seven second in both primary (18.8%) and network (27.9%) rankings.

7:30 (423,000) and Hard Quiz (471,000) deliver strong numbers for the ABC, and consequently easily land third in primetime. Question Everything (338,000) and Summer Love (236,000), as Would I Lie To You? (185,000) and repeats of The Witchfinder (83,000) and Spicks and Specks (39,000) push into the late night.
ABC third in both primary (12.3%) and network (17.1%) rankings.

The Project (200,000 6:30pm; 294,000 7pm) sees a small lift for 10 after the previous night’s announcement of Carrie Bickmore leaving. The necessary shift in primetime to introduce a repeat of The Dog House Australia (231,000) because they bumped The Real Love Boat Australia (129,000) back to 8:30pm did exactly what was expected – both did poorly. My Life is Murder (91,000) also suffered, before offering a repeat of Shockwaves: The Bali Bombings (41,000).
10 fourth in both primary (8.3%) and network (15%) rankings.

Lost For Words (96,000) kicked off the night for SBS with the second series premiere of this incredible series. It then flipped into Secret Scotland (136,000) and the FTA continuation of Nine Perfect Strangers (81,000) – and does massive business in Total TV catch-up and BVOD.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (8.5%) rankings.

  1. I just love that if we add viewerships for Andrew Bolt, Paul Murray and Peta Credlin together, they still get beaten by Bananas in Pyjamas. 🤣
