The World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022 will stream LIVE on beIN SPORTS from 16-25 July.
beIN SPORTS and World Athletics have agreed an exciting new deal for the broadcast of all World Athletics events, including the 2022 and 2023 World Athletics Championships in Oregon and Budapest, across Australia in a 2-year deal.
The World athletics Championships Oregon 2022, the jewel in the crown of World Athletics’ global competition programme, will be broadcast live on beIN SPORTS from 16-25 July (AEST). It is the third largest sporting event in the world, involving approximately 2,000 athletes from more than 200 nations. Star Olympians Kelsey-Lee Olyslagers, Nicola McDermott and Ash Moloney headline a 64-strong Australia team.
Defending champion and Olympic bronze medallist Olyslagers will look to add more silverware to her growing collection, alongside fellow Tokyo medallists McDermott and Moloney. World number-one race walker Jemima Montag has also been named in a squad that features 16 athletes making their Australian senior team debut – three of whom will contest the World Under 20 Championships in August.
beIN SPORTS will broadcast the live coverage, plus highlights and clips available on-demand, across beINSPORTS.com.au and on beIN’s social media channels.
The addition of the World Athletics Championships adds to beIN SPORTS’ formidable line-up of multi-sport events with the imminent return of Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Scottish Premiership, as well as the ongoing ATP and WTA Tours and the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in September.
