In preparation for tomorrow’s highly anticipated heavyweight clash, Turf War, dual rugby international superstar Sonny Bill Williams and AFL legend and Premiership winner Barry Hall faced off during a heated weigh-in.
Hall aggressively pushed his head into Williams’ face as the tension threatened to spill over ahead of Wednesday night’s eagerly anticipated heavyweight fight.
The two heavyweight champions will return to the ICC Sydney Aware Super Theatre tomorrow evening for the long-awaited Turf War clash.
Stan Event has assembled an all-star line-up to cover all the action from Turf War. Coverage will be hosted by Darren McMullen with special guests including boxing royalty George Kambosos Junior, Danny Green, Anthony Mundine, expert commentary from Andy Raymond, Chris McCullen with Renee Gartner and Seb Costello.
Sonny Bill Williams said:
“I’m nervous but for me it’s a sign that I’m ready to go. I haven’t heard anything about his training camp. He knows everything about mine,” he said. “He’s watched all my sparring. That’s why I say that. But it is what it is. At the end of the day, that’s not going to stop me getting in the ring. We still have to fight, and I’m going to knock him out”
Barry Hall said:
