In preparation for Wednesday’s highly anticipated heavyweight clash, Turf War, dual rugby international superstar Sonny Bill Williams and AFL legend and Premiership winner Barry Hall will weigh-in at 12pm AEDT tomorrow (Tuesday) at the ICC Sydney Aware Super Theatre.

Sonny Bill Williams and Barry Hall will join renowned sports commentator Andy Raymond and four-time world champion Danny Green at the weigh-ins tomorrow, alongside boxing legend Anthony Mundine and undercard fighters Jackson England, Paul Fleming, Willis Meehan, plus Anthony’s son Rahim Mundine in his professional boxing debut.

At the Turf War press conference today, Sonny Bill Williams and Barry Hall argued their case and were passionate in their belief of victory come Wednesday night. In their respective corners, eternal foes Anthony Mundine and Danny Green threw their support behind the two elite athletes.

Sonny Bill Williams said:

“I’m younger, I’ve got more experience and I think I’m more hungry. Plain and simple. It’s going to be a great fight.”

Barry Hall said:

“I think my mental capacity, I think I’m tougher and my boxing ability will shine through.”

Danny Green said:

“I’m excited because I don’t think people will realise until they’re watching the fight, the quality of this bout. Both guys are supreme athletes. Andy Lee is a phenomenal trainer and he’s been training Sonny for quite a while now. We expect an extremely hungry and skillful Sonny Bill Williams but Barry Hall is a beast. I’m in Barry’s camp and am confident he’s going to be victorious, I do think this fight will end in knockout.”

Anthony Mundine said:

“Sonny leaves no stone unturned. When he puts his mind to something he wants to achieve, nine times out of 10 he achieves it. Barry seems as hungry as Sonny so it’s going to be a great fight.”
